The Chevron is tamper-proof, and the case cannot be opened. You can easily extend the tubing for this by using the adaptor supplied and put the Chevron up to a distance of 10 metres away, and it will work just as well!
With a range of 2,000 Pa, this LEV Monitor / LEV airflow indicator is suitable for most systems.
It is recommended that airflow indicators should be fitted to all Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) systems.
When the airflow rate drops below the set threshold, the display flashes a Cross and a red LED to advise that action is to be taken. It will also tell you when the batteries need replacing.
Under C.O.S.H.H. Regulation 2002 it is mandatory that all Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) systems should be tested every 14 months. To ensure a safe working environment, Our sister company Air Movement Systems are qualified with P601 to offer a full C.O.S.H.H. assessment of all LEV systems as well as a dust monitoring service.
